有關unmeaning Design的由來……

行經文具店時，會見到賣筆的地方往往放著試紙給客人試筆，就是要試試該筆是否出墨流暢、顏色、粗幼以至用起來的舒適度等；於是人就會「有意地」選擇一支筆，繼而「隨意地」在那紙上寫寫畫畫。

再看看那張試紙上，有組合起來也無意思的文字、扭曲或不完整的圖畫與及純粹隨意畫上的線條；全部看起來就是無意思、隨意的行為，但通過他們（客人）運用的筆種、顏色、用字、字體、大小、選擇的位置、線條的風格……等，又好像可以對他們略知一二……

這種「虛」中帶「實」的感覺頗有趣，好像某程度上和生活有點相似，也有點和我的創作情況相近，而這就是unmeaning design的原點。

【About unmeaning Design】

When passing by a stationery store, you will often see test papers for customers to test the pens where you sell pens. It is to test whether the pens are smooth, color, comfortable to use and the size or texture of writing ; then people will “consciously” Choose a pen and write and draw on that paper “at will.”

Look at the test paper again. There have combined  meaningless words, distorted or incomplete pictures, and purely random lines drawn; all seem to be meaningless and random behaviors, but through their (guests) use The pen type, color, font, size, selected position, line style… etc., it seems that we can know a little about them…

This  “in inadvertent circumstances ” actually have “some meaning” feeling is quite interesting, It seems a little to be similar to life, It’s also a bit similar to the situation when I was creating. The above is the origin of unmeaning design and the origin of the logo.
